Highlights include.
-Seeing Tegan and Sara twice in a row with my friends band... I'm fairly certain that she's actually better than them, but I said that to a superfan at the venue and well apparently that's blasphemy.
-Got a drinking in public ticket the first night I was there, I'm told this ticket is very easy to get out of and if I can't is only $25...
- Got to go to a courthouse in NYC! Total deja vu feeling only because I've watched so much Law & Order.
-Dustin's past and more recent past lover got in a fist fight resulting in black eyes and broken nails on Halloween night.
-I got to wear my amazing costume and also gave away 40's to anyone being awesome... evidently I get really social when the entire city's in costume.
-Tara came down, that's a highlight- not necessarily a good thing though.
In true Sammie fashion I just avoided missing my flight- if I had checked luggage I would not have made it... note to self, always travel with carry-on sized bags... Ps. The travel sized guitar I bought made it's first plane trip when I flew from Seattle! I'm so stoked it made it into carry-on, I was nervous.
I will update about why I was only on the west coast for twenty-four hours before flying back East to Toronto later on, right now I need to write a project proposal!
